Open auditions for Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective. They are seeking actors of all races and all levels of experience for upcoming productions. In 2011, DSPAC mounted the well-received productions of “Love! Valour! Compassion!”, “Shotgun” and “The Laramie Project,” and othe goal for this year is to continue producing plays that bring more diversity to local theater, both onstage and in the audience.

This year the whole Concourse level will be open to exhibitors -the perimeter with all of the great natural light. Art groups and individuals, furniture makers and artisans whose work directly relates to the home are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
Thursday night before the show there will be a Preview Party for realtors, architects, builders, general contractors, designers and those related to the construction industry from 17 counties (500-1000 attendees). They will preview the booths and meet the exhibitors, and everyone will all enjoy food and beer.
The booths are 8’ deep by 16’ wide and are $480 plus extras like electricity. They are now offering smaller booths (8’x 8’) on the Concourse Level for $250 by dividing some of the 8 x 16’s. extra)

Weekly Watercolor Coop
The weekly watercolor class meets on Mondays from 1-4pm at the Artery (346 Depot Street in the River Arts District). Classes start February 6.
This is an opportunity for water color artists of all experience levels to get together and enjoy painting, sharing techniques, and having their works critiqued (if desired). The annual membership fee is $35, and the per class fee is $3. Watercolorist Linda Roggenburg hosts.
