Current Exhibit

A-B Tech’s Fine Art Department will hold their Ninth Annual Juried Student Art Show from May 2nd to the 25th at the Asheville Area Art’s Council’s gallery.

On display May 3 – 25

The opening reception will be Friday May 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m. with awards presented at 6 pm.

The annual show is an opportunity for AB Tech’s Fine Art students to showcase their work. AB Tech has offered an Associate of Fine Arts Degree since 2003 and students pending a portfolio review are eligible for admission into a BFA program in area universities.

The juried exhibition will include a variety of student work in painting, drawing,photography, sculpture, ceramics and digital art. This year’s juror is Constance Richards Bora, author, editor, curator and director of the Grand Bohemian Gallery.
