2017 Indigo Ball
a fundraiser to support the Asheville Area Arts Council
On the evening of September 9, 2017, the Indigo Ball will have attendees bouncing around town to themed parties, and reconvening for the Ball saturated in the color indigo. Each year a different color is chosen to lead the theme, entertainment, costumes, and amazing art and music of each party. The AAAC welcomes volunteers, sponsors, and attendees to get involved in this year’s Indigo Ball.
Since 2002, the Asheville Area Arts Council’s (AAAC) Color Ball raises funds to support the grants, programs, and services of the AAAC. In the last year, the AAAC has continued established grants and programs, launched the Refinery Creator Space, increased membership 600%, and is set to launch a new signature Arts & Wellness program to support creative outlets for veterans who have PTSD and traumatic brain injury.
This event is remembered as one of Asheville’s most fun events! For those of you that may want to volunteer or sponsor please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with subject-line: I’m Ready to Indi-go!
