O.P.E.N. (Outreach Projects Engaging Neighborhoods) is a local community forum pursuing Tactical Urbanism in Asheville. Through the means of Creative Placemaking, Ashevillle’s evolving sustainable communities foster a more livable and connected city experience that stimulates and preserves our contemporary culture. Tactical Urbanist initiatives focus on short-term interventions in hopes that they inspire permanent projects that arrive from community consensus and public engagement.
