Buncombe County has a wealth of short term, non-degree trainings available to upgrade business knowledge and skills for long term business growth. There are many organizations in our community that provide support for small business startup and expansion through classes on business plan development, financial literacy, social media, marketing, and more.
The Asheville Area Arts Council has developed the Professional Development Grant for Artists for Buncombe County residents to attend courses that increase skills and understanding of sound business practices. Applications will be accepted from January 1 until May 15 for courses happening between January 1 to June 1, 2017.
This grant is managed by the Asheville Area Arts Council with the support of the City of Asheville. We look forward to reviewing your application.
