Cheryl Eugenia Barnes:
If I were to write an Artist Statement, it would be that you only have to have eyes to see, and a heart and a brain to enjoy my work.
I have been painting since I was nine years old. I was not formally trained, but eventually obtained a BA in Art History. When I paint, the inspiration is to see a reality that doesn’t exist in the real world. My choice medium is oils.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in the Front Gallery of the Refinery Creator Space.
