January 12, 2018 – February 16, 2018
Instant, curated by Francesca Downing, explores various artist approaches on using Instant Photography in their practice.
Instant Photography is interesting because it is a quick and accessible process as well as a method that creates a long lasting unique photo object. This exhibit will explore the contrast.
We live in an impatient world where photography is a constant in most people’s daily life. What does it mean to create instant images that are also a one use object? Instant will explore what means to be an Instant Photographer.
Join us for the opening reception, Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in the Thom Robinson and Ray Griffin Exhibition Space. Artist talk will begin at 6:30 pm.
