The Asheville Area Arts Council will be hosting Board Certified Trial Lawyer, Dana LeJune, in the Thom Robinson and Ray Griffin Exhibition Space for a workshop on Copyright Infringement. LeJune will be discussing the importance of protecting intellectual property, what is considered copying, and how to find out if your artwork has been knocked – off.  He will also dispel myths about copyright law as well as explain the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the penalties against infringers who remove the copyright management information on artwork.  LeJune, “If it’s worth creating, then it’s worth protecting.”
