Have you ever wanted to teach with Arts For Life, but haven’t been able to take the leap into a weekly commitment?
Here are a few opportunities for a one-time-commitment serving our community’s children while bringing awareness to our Arts For Life programs. Join us!
The first event is the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands (Thursday, July 16th- Sunday, July 19th), where Arts For Life will have an informational booth and Art Activity for fair goers and kids of all ages. This will be our 6th year at the fair, and it is a lot of fun!
The second opportunity is an art activity booth at the North Asheville Tailgate Market every Saturday in July.
Both of these events are wonderful ways to volunteer, regardless of whether or not you regularly volunteer in the hospital with Arts for Life. We make it easy on you by equipping you ahead of time with all you need to teach our lessons and advocate for our programs. The art projects are completely ready to go with detailed instructions so that anyone can jump in and teach!
You can sign up for a shift (or 2!) at the Craft Fair on Volunteer Spot.
